Weaving

Fixed the loom and did some more weaving.  Almost done with the second towel.  Just four more inches and it will be done.  I wanted to go to my local yarn company and get more yarn for a table runner that I have to do, but they don't have the right colors or size.  I guess I will end up ordering it.  I will be putting on a bigger warp on my floor loom out in the barn hopefully before the end of the week.  Have a good day.

Still here

Things have been pretty hectic around the farm and the weaving has been put on the back burner for a short period of time.  I had my sister here for a visit.  Now my vacation is over and the weaving is back on the forefront.  My little table loom, that I have been weaving my blue and white towels on, broke a string attaching the harness.  That took some time to fix.  Now I am up and trying to get that run of towels off the loom, so that I can begin with Linda's, over at Life on a Colorado farm, towels.  Hope to get another warp wound for the next set of towels to put in consignment.

This is a twill design.  They will be 13 inches wide by 23 inches long.  They will be for sale when finished for 18 dollars a piece.  I have two towels of this design.
